Where would you rather be?

Suki was walking towards her local library when she hears a loud crack and one of the pillars from her library falls onto the street. The front of the library begins collapsing, just as she was rounding the corner to stand in front of it. She jumped backwards as she watches her sanctuary fall to the ground. Tears sprang to the corners of her eyes as she hears a loud beeping sound. She opens her forest green eyes to stare at a blurry red image that she knew to be her alarm clock. She sat up in bed, rubbed her eyes, and then threw the alarm clock across the room.
